This is an example of an informative website, it is the BBC news website which can be found at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news. The purpose of this website is to inform its viewers on local and globe news. The website offers many types of media for the viewer to view such as photos and videos and keeps the newest stories at the front of the home page. It is also very easy to navigate with well structured navigation bars. The user experience is very good as it offers interesting stories for many different age demographics but also allows people to read a full story with detailed writing and formal language to create a fun to read post. This benefits the BBC as it makes there website much more view able as there is a much more enjoyable user experience due to the easy navigation and the interesting stories. I believe the target audience to be for people of 14 and up. The website needs to allow easy access to the information it does this by having tabs that are clear to read and follow.
