After looking through the user testing feedback it did not seem that there were an immediate design flaws but there were a few navigation links I needed to address in order to enhance the user experience and improve navigation. The testing was done in a way that meant no part of the website was not given feedback, I tried to make the testing questions as specific as possible so that the I could get full details on specific aspects of the website that needed addressing therefore I would then be able to make the corrections as quickly as possible.
One of the changes that needed addressing was a few of the internal hyper-links were either missing or not functioning properly. I then tested myself each internal hyper-links in order to see which ones need improving. I found the errors and found that few had not saved properly and were therefore missing their respective links, I corrected this by adding the links to them. For the other links I found a few had not been in putted correctly, I then corrected the link in order for them to work as intended.
Other than the hyper-links, I did not need to make any other improvements on my website. From my feedback I found that the load times were relatively quick for a user on multiple different browsers, the house style was consistent throughout the website and suited the theme. Overall I am happy with how the test plan turned out.
Things I need to change
I need to address multiple hyperlinks so that they go to their intended internal pages and external pages
I need to see if i can improve the load times when using browsers other than google chrome

LO5 - Feedback
Navigation
I asked the tester to test if they could smoothly navigate from page to page on my website, this allowed me to test the links for many of the pages. The page load times on google chrome were tested at being at about 1.5s long. From the test i saw that many of the links on the page worked properly by leading to the desired page and with a short load time. Although i was informed that one or two links were missing from some tabs on the home page.
Internal and external hyperlinks
I asked the tester to check each individual hyperlink both internal and external. From the test i found out that most internal hyperlinks worked but there were a couple that either had a wrong or missing link. While the external hyperlinks all worked by going to there intended webpages and with short load times.
Page load times
I asked the tester to test the load times of multiple pages throughout the website. I wanted this to be tested in order to see if assets such as images or videos would slow down the load times. From the test i saw that the load times were rather quick (1.5-3s on google chrome) but they felt like they could improved upon for user experience.
Performance of website when using different browsers
I wanted to test the performance of the website on multiple different browsers in order to see if the performance was better or worse on different browsers. I had the tester test the website on Internet explorer, Firefox and Chrome. From the test i found that the internet ran slower on Internet explorer and Firefox as apposed to to Chrome but the load times on all browsers were reasonable for the user.
Consistency of house style
I wanted the tester to see if the house style i chose was consistent throughout the pages. From the test i found that the house style was indeed consistent through out and also that the colors i chose suited the theme of my website.

LO4 - Test plan
The reason why I am doing a test plan is so I can get feedback from users and see what they do and don't like about the website, which then allow me to take on-board their feedback and make appropriate changes. The question I will be asking are relevant to my website as they relate too key features on my website and will allow me to make corrections too specific areas around my website such as hyperlinks and the house style.

LO3 - Site management
The way in which a user will be able to give feedback or contact to the website owner is by using the details given to either ring or go to an external website to give feedback too the owner, so that the owner can make improvements directly from user feedback.
In this image I am in the process of editing the hyperlinks on my slider buttons and adding in a image for my home page. The reason i edited my hyperlinks was so that the corresponding tabs would take a user to the relevant page. This helps make the website much more streamlined and makes the user experience much more fluid. I was also able to add multiple images too the slideshow on the homepage, I then added hyperlinks to them so they would lead to the page they were showing off. I also gave each image a title to relate to the pages they link too.
In this image I am looking over the code for my websites theme. The reason as to why I am looking over this is because if there was to be a error within the code then the theme of my website may not work as intended therefore ruining the aesthetic of the website. Thankfully when i looked over the code there appeared to be no errors within it and my theme worked as intended on multiple tests.
When I was first creating my website I chose the inferno theme as I felt this would suite the theme of my website. I also like the way that there was rich media already on the theme in the form of a slideshow that I could hyperlink to many different pages. Overall I thought the design was good and it allowed me to experiment with different colours and ways to connect pages.

For the house style of my pages i chose to go with a mix between a white and orange backdrop. I felt like these colours suited each other and helped the photos displayed on the many pages of my website stand out for a viewer. For my title of the website i used a black font and used a logo of a bee in order to make it stand out and fit into the theme of my website.
I believe that my website is suitable for my target audience as i have not used any graphic images or language which are in keeping with the intended target audience i was going for which is ages from 18- 45. I also feel that my website fits my intended audience because it features images and information related to the purpose of the website.
My website features rich media in the form of a animation on the homescreen that will transition between several images that link to there respective pages.
The user can easily navigate the website by having a search bar on multiple pages so that they can search for a specific topic

LO2 - Launch date/ Revenue / Profit
I believe that after looking at other time frames for other similar websites i believe that i will be able to launch my intended website in 10 -12 weeks. 3 weeks in order to plan my website and then 5 weeks in order to make the website and then 2 weeks to test the finished product and get feedback from users. I have looked at similar websites to mine and have averaged out a time frame in which i think i will be able to complete the intended project. Also by looking at similar websites i have estimated a budget that would be needed to complete a website fitting the specification. I estimated between £500 - £1000 may indeed be needed in order to produce the desired website. This budget should account for aspects such as hosting and graphics design as products such as premiere pro and Photoshop would take up a large amount of this budget so i could use programs such as cloud 9 too host my website for free, therefore lowering the budget.. An initial, one off setup fee is payable to the registrar at a price of about £3 - £10. There is also a small annual charge for registration of your domain name. This can range from £3 per annum to £10 per annum. When looking at similar websites too mine they budget a 5 to ten page website for price off, somewhere between £400 and £700.
For the intended revenue i believe this would need to be achieved by hosting ads on my website for companies that specialize in the media industry or perhaps related to the website itself. The way this works is you can either find and work with advertisers yourself or work with a middle man who takes a cut for bringing you advertisers. From looking at similar websites i averaged that the website could be able to make £2.00 from ad revenue per unique viewer. So let’s say for example that the cost an advertiser is paying for their ad is £2.00 per click. That £2.00 goes to an ad network feed and then the feed displays that £2 ad on your website. You don’t make the full $2 of course, but you do make a portion of that £2 because you are doing the ad network feed a favor by giving that ad a relevant audience on your website. So if my website got 100 unique views i could earn around £100-£125 from ad revenue.
On a professional scale if you have say 100,000 page views per month, that is technically 100,000 chances that somebody may click on an ad that is being displayed on your website and each of those clicks means ad revenue. So the potential ad revenue could be increased by at least double or even triple. But there cost for this website too be run could be double the amount of main perhaps even above £2000.

LO2 - Gantt chart
For my gantt chart i have given my self 9 weeks in order to complete the unit. I have given myself this amount of time as i believe that i will be able to complete this unit in that given amount of time. The task that i believe will take the longest will be creating the website itself as this will require a lot of technical ability in order to complete it but otherwise i think i will be able to complete everything within the time i have set out.
